Welcome to Golden Acres, a peaceful lakeside retreat just a short drive from the Twin Cities. We’re located on the shores of Square Lake, one of Minnesota’s cleanest and clearest lakes. Golden Acres is the perfect escape for a quick getaway or a longer summer stay.
Guests can enjoy swimming, boating, and paddling on the lake, explore nearby historic Marine on Saint Croix and downtown Stillwater, and end each day gathered around the campfire under the stars.
We offer three ways to stay: full hook-up RV campsites available nightly or weekly, on-site lodging including a remodeled RV or our Lakefront Villa with stunning views, and seasonal RV sites for those looking to make Golden Acres their summer home.

Cruise the waters of Square Lake with our pontoon rentals, explore the shoreline in a canoe or kayak, or reserve a beachside picnic table for a relaxing meal with stunning views. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, our rentals cater to all ages and interests, providing the perfect complement to your lakeside escape at Golden Acres.

$10 entrance fee per person
5 years old and under get in for free!
Park Rules
No glass containers
No low grills
No pets in picnic area or beach area
No fishing in swim area
No loud or disturbing music
No smoking marijuana
Small children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
Swim at your own risk - No lifeguard on duty
